Abstract

In this study, we investigated the effect of differences in mechanical properties of joints caused by pretreatment of structures on the final molding shape of molded metal plastic processing, in which the structure expands symmetrically and forms into a spherical shape due to underwater shock waves. In this paper, we create a numerical simulation model necessary to understand related mechanical phenomena and report the results of observing spherical shell molding due to underwater shock waves and high-speed deformation of metals.
