Abstract
Our objective is to establish a simulation system that can be used easily throughout the manufacturing system life cycle. Therefore, we developed a manufacturing simulation system based on distributed simulation architecture, HLA. However, it is too difficult to apply the system to the implementation stage of the real factory, because the simulation language is not executable on a real device. In this paper, we propose a method and a system for integrating the real devices into the manufacturing simulation systems on the network. This is a distributed real simulation system which consists of a soft-wiring system, a production cell simulator and so on.
