Abstract
In recent multi-axis controlled machine tools, to realize both high productivity and fine surface, a planning method to keep dynamic synchronous accuracy among tool axes and tool posture against local surface of workpiece is required. So, in this paper, we propose a new planning method based on integrated main/post processing system for tool posture. In the proposed method, movable range of rotational axes without collision and tool posture against local surface is illustrated as M-Map image for each cutting point with GPU. Then, by referring these images, continuous change of rotational axes keeping the tool posture can be planned.
