Abstract
In order to control microstructures in metallic materials precisely, we develop a new approach to control the metallic microstructures by using the nano plastic forming which can apply precise strain into the material and exact heat treatment. In this study, we investigate the statically recyrstallized microstructure in a single crystal copper formed by the nano plastic forming. The results show that dislocation cell and subgrain structure are generated by the forming. Furthermore, we can find that the nucleation and growth of the recrystallized grains are occurred from the deformed microstructures.
