Abstract
Milling is one of the most important metal cutting processes. If we can measure the cutting force of milling process in real time, we will be able to make the process optimum and prevent tool breakage. But especially, Since we use an end mill with small diameter, it is very difficult because of its smallness. In this paper, we developed a tool holder with torque sensing function in it by using a magnet coupling with magnetoresistance sensors. Above all, we developed the technique which can compensate error by using analog circuit. And we checked its performance by simulation and got good compensation ability
