The effect of acceleration of Pitot-tube relative to fluid, in which it is immersed, affecting the velocity determination was investigated theoretically. The correction factor, to be multiplied to the velocity obtained neglecting acceleration, is [numerical formula], where [numerical formula] and I_n(x) is the modified Bessel Function of the First Kind. Condition that no correction is necessary within the error of 1% is [numerical formula]
