Abstract
KSAT is a small cubic satellite with 100 millimeters on a side, and was manufactured by Kagoshima Satellite Development Club. KSAT was launched in May 2010, and finished two-month-mission. Now, we are preparing for the next mission of releasing small satellite from H II -A rocket. In the present study thermal analysis of the KSAT II at 400km altitude was conducted. The max. and min. temperatures of each node were compared to the upper and lower limits of each component. The calculated results reveal that the temperature rages of the internal equipments are comparable to their allowable temperature range. Therefore , we need some measures to protect internal equipments from thermal environment.
