Abstract
This paper deals with the evaluation of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) behavior based on non-linear fracture mechanics taking account of plastic deformation Four-point bending tests are carried out to the evaluate SCC growth behavior in plastic deformation field. Compact tension test is also carried out to the evaluate SCC growth behavior under small-scale and large-scale yielding condition. The fracture mechanics parameter which control the crack growth rate is investigated. As the results, the equivalent stress intensity factor defined by J integral is an appropriate parameter for evaluation of crack growth by SCC in plastic deformation field.
