Abstract
The electric vehicle has the problem of decreasing cruising range with the operation of the air conditioning system. To solve it, we propose the personal air conditioning system installed in the passenger sheet using the Peltier devices. In this article, discussion was made on the production procedure of the cooling unit, which put double Peltier devices, the fins and the fans, and the performance of this system was evaluated Especially, the technological advance of the unit was enabled by acquiring an electric current difference (combination of 3.50A and 1.68A). Finally, wind velocity of 3 m/s and cold wind of 23.1 degree at the ambient temperature of 30 degrees and the humidity of 40% were achieved. Because this report is a first step of personal air-conditioning system for EV, after completed the system through the improvement of the unit we intend to propose this unit as the low consumption energy in future.
