Abstract
In this study, a new burring process performed by pushing a pin tool from inside of SUS 304 stainless steel pipe with different pre-holes was developed and its optimal processing condition was discussed using FEM simulation and burring experiments. It was found that the height, outer diameter and plate thickness formed by burring were well coincided with those of experimental results. Also, it is expected that the burring process of pipe with regard to different size and plate thickness can be estimated fully using this FEM simulation.
