Abstract
In this study, thermal flow and smoke behavior is numerically predicted in a fire of small size tunnel, 6m width and 3m height. Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) is employed for this study. Heat release and soot source is put on the center in tunnel of 800m length, and symmetry condition is applied at the center of tunnel, then the half length of domain was simulated. FDS results shows hot gas flow and soot drop down soon, which are pointed out by other research in small size tunnel fire. This work shows FDS is able to predict well the tunnel fire.
