Abstract
"The intellectual property" is invisible property,and it is the field included in the concept called "the information".In late years while advancement of the information technology and the expansion of the information network are promoted,"information" comes to take an important role for society,and the importance of "the intellectual property"rises at the same time.When such situation is considered,it is effective approach to examine from a viewpoint of the technique and the intellectual property information such as the know-how,and,it is thought that "trade secret management" and "the know-how management" are important for the development of the future mechanical engineering.By this report,a basic way of thinking of "trade secret management" and "the know-how management" is arranged among intellectual property management,and a future problem is considered by this report from the viewpoint of medium and small-sized business and university.
