Abstract
ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease) patients' number in the world reaches 2,786,000 at the end of 2011. The Japanese number is 304,592, covers 14%. Japan has original hemodialysis system called CDDS (Central Dialysis fluid Delivery System) which consists of not only Water treatment equipment also Multiple-patient dialysis fluid supply equipment and Dialysis consoles. Hospitals and medical clinics have to care lots of patients by increasing ESRD, and Japanese patients are rapidly aging. It makes medical units difficult to manage daily operation and managements. NIKKISO has developed new solution 'Total System NX" to overcome these difficulties. The Total system would support nurses and medical staffs by streamlined technology as automated dialysis fluid management system and highly optimized network system. Japanese hemodialysis situation can be perspective of the world due to its aging. Therefore CDDS and the Total system could be solution to the world for efficiency and optimization.
