Abstract
This study presented a simple fabrication process of electrical system based on multi zinc oxide nanowires (ZnO-NWs) for a high sensitive bio-sensor. The process mainly consists from transferring ZnO-NWs to an insulating resin and connecting them to two electrodes. The resin fills the two roles: to fix the transferred ZnO-NWs and prevent an electrical leakage from the electrode. As experiments, the ZnO-NWs synthesized on an Au deposited Si substrate were transferred on a resin-coated Au electrode. After transferring, an I-V characteristic between transferred ZnO-NWs and another electrode was measured. SEM images showed that the vertically ZnO-NWs are successfully transferred to the resin layer after the synthesis substrate was peeled off. The I-V characteristic indicates ZnO-NWs were electrically contacted with the Au electrode even though they passed through the insulating resin layer.
