Abstract
In general, level-set based topology optimization is considered as a different structural optimization approach from density based topology optimization, because these approaches have different theoretical backbone. However, with the advancement of the research on these approaches, some optimization cases appear in which optimization behaviors of these approaches seem to be very similar. Therefore, in this workshop lecture, I would like to discuss essential different and common points between these approaches.
