Abstract

The research and development of nanoparticle is conducted actively in a wide range of fields for dispersion of maintenance and high functionality. In the fields such as ceramics, battery materials, color materials industry, cosmetics and bio-medicine, many studies are done about the control of dispersion and aggregation as basic characterization. The particle size and particle size distribution is the most fundamental physical properties, measurement method of those include dynamic light scattering method, the electron microscope method, laser diffraction methods. The dynamic light scattering method is used most easily and gives in particular useful information of nanoparticle size and particle size distribution in solution.
