A dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma actuator has been mainly studied by a number of research institutions for control of the airfoil flow. In this study, coaxial type DBD plasma actuator was designed for jet diffusion control. Induced flow is generated by a coaxial type DBD plasma actuator mounted on the tip of the converging nozzle and gives the turbulence on the boundary layer of the jet. In single jet experiment, it was investigated the influence of the pulse width and rise time of the voltage waveform. In the experiment, it was using a sing wave, tangential wave, and ramp wave. It was measured the mean velocity on the jet axis with hot wire anemometer.
