Abstract

Businesses of small and medium-sized manufacturer are decreasing by the changes in the domestic production environment with the global manufacturing. On the other hand, agriculture and industry cooperation businesses by small and medium-sized enterprises are insufficient. Therefore, purpose of this study is development of new agricultural market for small and medium-sized manufacturers. Moreover, improvement of productivity and quality of the cultivation using usual agricultural plastic greenhouse or sunlight-using hydroponics for baby-leaf agriculture are also purpose of this study. For realizing of these purposes, production technologies are trying to apply to baby-leaf agriculture in this study. Characteristic of this study is based on open innovation style research and development by an industrial study group for consumer-driven agriculture. In order to enhance these activates, a cultivation information gathering system has been developed as one of core applications. In this paper, implementation scheme in this study, requirements of production management of agriculture for baby-leaf, and development of a cultivation information gathering system are discussed.
