Abstract

Electromagnetic field multi-scale problem was researched more than 100 years ago. Equivalent material constants are used for the macro-micro connection for a simple composite material structure, and analytical equations are introduced. Magnetic multi-scale has a special condition as an existence of magnetic domain. Numerical calculation makes it possible to calculate a complicated material composite and magnetic property as non-linearity and magnetic anisotropy. The electromagnetic field multi-scale seems to have some problems of magnetic energy conversion and expression of local eddy current. In consideration of wide range application of power electronics technology for high power and high frequency, this technology is said to be one of the most important ones to be solved from now on.
