Abstract

In this paper, system parameters and constraints on the simulation model is considered for the evaluation of the automated driving system (ADS) design based on the system model. First, use cases and functions of ADS are defined. Then, the behavior of ADS is described as a system model. especially, in order to evaluate ADS control decision against changes in traffic environment. system parameters and constraints are identified from the behavior of ADS. By using the simulation model based on the system model when analyzing the system, it is possible to analyze the behavior reflecting the requirement for the system.
