Abstract

There is a technique for 3D manufacturing the implant in the near-net-shape. To do this, we use a patient's CT image. It is a manufacturing technology by powder additive fabrication using a laser or electron beam. Additive fabrication the titanium alloy microstructure, different from that of the forged material. And, there are many defects. These defects become the origin of fatigue fracture. To use the Additive fabrication titanium alloys, fatigue properties are important.
