Abstract

Dynamic analysis of flywheel-less low temperature differential model Stirling engine was carried out. The Stirling engine is composed of two Stirling engines. The difference of phase angle between two Stirling engines is 90 degrees. The difference of phase angle between piston and displacer is 60 degrees. Stable conditions can be obtained as calculation results. Calculation result of inertia moment in each moving part is difficult to be determined the reliability. When the error occurs, some of lengths became zero or the number close to zero. When the length was zero, Excel displays the error message. However, the number close to zero is error of calculation of decimal or fraction, and the error were shown by the number displayed with exponents. Such error does not cause the display of error messages in Excel. In addition, to determine the signs of coefficient was required to obtain suitable result as the dynamic analysis, and it required to consider the balance between the gravitational forces of parts and the torque on crankshaft.
