Abstract

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of JSME's Micro / Nano Science and Technology Division, as Founding Chair, I would like to explain historical background and purpose of establishing the new division. This is the opening talk of a workshop that discusses departmental activities over the last 10 years and the future.
