Abstract
This paper describes an algorithm that is expanded to apply the calculation of Large-Eddy Simulation in generalized coordinate system. The authors adopt an algorithm so called "Coupled Method" which is based on Symmetric Coupled Gauss Seidel method. The method has four features : (I) good parallel processing. (II) fast convergence. (III) less communications between processors. (IV) easy implementation. Actually this algorithm is applied for analyzing the incompressible unsteady flow around 3-D circular cylinder with 1024 PE of the massively parallel computer HITACHI SR2201. It is found that the efficiency with huge number of processors, 1024PE, is enough good although the granularity for one processor becomes small such as 32 points. The results of drag coefficient, Strauhal Number, and average velocity distribution are reasonable
