Abstract
The Humid Air Turbine (HAT) cycle is expected to have high efficiency and low cost. Performance of the Advanced HAT cycle, which is the improved type of HAT cycle, was studied by the heat and mass balance analysis in this paper. It is investigated particularly what effects the performance of each component have on the generating power and the thermal efficiency of the cycle. As a result, the information which is needed to optimalize the Advanced HAT cycle was obtained. The pressure ratio 15 and the humidifier ratio around 16 wt.% is the best condition at the turbine inlet temperature 1300℃
