Abstract
The next-generation system of iSIGHT, which is the pioneer of integration, automation and an optimization system, has been developed based on FIPER project. For this system, a newly developed architecture of FIPER (Federated Intelligent Product EnviRonment) project, founded by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and composed of manufacturing companies, universities, and software vendor, is reflected and will offer the new infrastructure for a collaborative engineering. This paper explains the outline of this attractive development project.
