This paper introduce a new database system which facilitate that various user utilize a professional knowledge of welding and joining technology as a resources. The system based on knowledge management is examined in order to make the best use of the knowledge. As the result of this examination, the conclusion is obtained that a web application, which have presentation logic for each skill and have a function that the skill information is updated based on record of operation, with the database of professional knowledge, skill information for each user, and relation of each knowledge is the most effective to construct such kind of system. As the examples of the application, intelligent database for a papers concerning welding and joining technology on above conclusion is developed.
