Abstract
This paper describes numerical analysis for a Lead-Bismuth eutectic (LBE) cooled natural circulation reactor. Core temperature profile and flow distribution in the natural circulation reactor have been calculated by using the MSG-COPD code. Inherent flow distribution by buoyancy force is reduced for a duct-less type core comparing with a duct-channel type core. As a result, the maximum core temperature increases in case of the duct-less type core.
