Abstract
Light weight railway car body is an important factor in the speed-up and the energy saving of the railway vehicle. However, lightening car body decreases car body rigidity and increases the elastic vibration. In addition, the mass ratio between the car body and the passengers becomes smaller as the car body is lightened. Therefore, there is reported that the passengers influence the car body vibration characteristic. That is, the car body vibration analysis should consider not only an increase of the car body weight by passengers but also passengers' vibration characteristic. In this research, the coupled oscillation between the passengers and the car body that considers passengers' vibration characteristic is analyzed.
