1002 A Study on Mechanical Engineering Objects in the Early Meiji Era

Abstract

Tokyo University's mechanical engineering objects manufactured in the eady Meiji era are now displayed in the University Museum, the Koishikawa Annex.. This paper tries to make out the historical background of these objects, by making research on Kogakuryo, Kobudaigakko, Tokyokaiseigakko, and Tokyo University.
