Abstract
A practical estimation method of motion sickness incidence has presented by authors by analyzing measured acceleration record. In this paper, method taking account of effect of time dependence on human body is presented by considering motion sickness decrease proficiency. Motion Sickness Dose Value which is defined as accumulative value of square of weighted acceleration is assumed to decrease as time elapse. A half decrease time is adopted as time required to reduce a half time dose value. Examples for car sickness estimation including rest time are shown, using approximate formula derived from high way running experiment.
