Abstract

In recent years, bone marrow transplantation is often carried out as one of the treatment for cancer of hematopoietic organ. The bone marrow transplantation aims to replace lesion by normal hematopoietic stem cell included in bone marrow donated from a donor. As little quantity of hematopoietic stem cell is included in bone marrow, harvesting enough hematopoietic stem cell is very important for bone marrow transplantation. But there is no efficient method for harvesting enough hematopoietic stem cells. Providing the components of bone marrow being harvested is influenced by harvesting negative pressure, an prototype aspiration device was developed in this study. Dummy liquid of born marrow can be harvested with any negative pressure by the device developed.
