Abstract
In 2006, the author investigated the histoiy of technology for Sumer in The Orient Museum of Istanbul in Turkey. Sumer is a race which established the Mesopotamian civilization that it prospered in the third millennium B.C. at the down stream between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers of current lniq. In 1916, a metal bar of 1.1 meters in length was excavated from Nipput That city was the capital of Sumer, and a sacred place of Akkaii The bar was considered to be "a standard ruler" of about 2650 BC, and it is exhibited in that museum. In this report, the author reported the result of actual investigation for the ruler of about 4,600 years ago and discussed the relation with the "ruler of human body" of the length that had been used as an experience value concerned with Egyptian "Royal cubit" at the same period. It is also concerned with Egyptian "Royal cubit" at the same era.
