G0300-7-5 Experimental study on Martensitic Transformation in terms of Bending System

Abstract

In order to obtain the accurate value of transformation plasticity coefficient K easily, the maximum deflection of the specimen(SCM440) are measured in the three-point bending system during rapid cooling process. Though the transformation plasticity coefficient K of martensitic phase transformation is identified, there are some scattering in the measured profiles of deflection-temperature diagram and it is necessary to improve the experimental procedure.
