Abstract
The purpose of this research is to develop new commodities made of the Nachiguro stone powder and useful methods for industrial fields. We examined several processing methods for the Nachiguro stone powder. When the Nachiguro stone powder was sintered in the atmosphere using the electric furnace, it changed from black to a brown sintered object. On the other hand, when the Nacihuro stone powder was sintered in a reducing atmosphere using N_2 and CO_2 gases, it maintained the black color.
