Abstract
Micro crystal morphology of piezoelectric ceramics can be analyzed by electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) method, and then its macro electromechanical properties can be estimated through a multiscale finite element analysis. However, we can get only two-dimensional distribution of crystal orientations because it costs a considerable effort to measure three-dimensional crystal morphology. In this sturdy, we investigated the difference of macro homogenized properties caused by finite element modeling of micro structure. Comparing two representative cross sections parallel and perpendicular to poling direction, we discussed about micro finite element modeling to estimate macro homogenized properties rightly.
