Abstract
In this study, by combining the finite element simulation and the tactile sensing device for detection the internal structure of the soft specimens which was included some hard object, it tried to estimate the material properties and internal structure. Results of the experiment show that the tactile sensing in virtual space appreciates the elasticity and the location the rigid parts in the soft specimen almost exactly. These results show that tactile sensation would be useful technique to determine the internal construction in the human body.
