Abstract
The purpose of this study is to improve the prediction accuracy of fracture in impact CAE analysis of extruded aluminum. We study two methods for prediction of aluminum fracture, Gurson method and Datsko-Yang method. In study of Gurson method, we decide measurement method of material properties used for Gurson model. CAE analysis to use Gurson method with these properties can predict aluminum fracture. On the other hand, Datsko-Yang method is able to predict fracture limits of bending flat plate. However, fracture is often occurred at comer of edge. So, we improve Datsko-Yang method and suggest formula of fracture judgment. This formula can predict not only flat plate but also corner of edge.
