Abstract
Micro EVs are small electric vehicles of a one-seater. The dimension is within 2.5 m in length, 1.3 m in width, and 2.0 m in height, respectively. The nominal power is from 0.25 kW to 0.6 kW and the maximum speed is 60 km/h. Since their structures and systems are simpler compared with other cars, the micro EVs have been developing by not only car companies but also small and medium-sized enterprises and some of universities. We developed a micro EV with the GFRP body in our laboratory, and executed performance tests.
