Abstract
In this study, the relationship of between the each percentages of maximum load to breaking load and number of cycles in Carbon Fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) are obtained by cyclic axial load tests. The time intensity at 2*10^6 times is about 30 % of breaking load. Breaking point of all specimens is in the thimble. By observing the breaking point using SEM, the breaking process was clarified that the interface between carbon fibers and matrix was broken at first. Next, matrix was broken. Finally, fibers were broken.
