Abstract
Very high cycle fatigue properties of β-titanium alloy were evaluated by using an ultrasonic fatigue testing machine. A S-N diagram and fracture morphology of β-titanium alloy Ti-22V-4Al in very high cycle region were investigated. Fatigue failure in very high cycle region was observed. The influence of cyclic frequency was confirmed in comparison with experimental results at standard cyclic frequencies.
