Abstract
This report deals with a precision machining of harden stainless steel by use of a cBN micro milling tool. A cBN micro milling tool with 8 cutters was .developed. In this study, a basic cutting characteristics were researched and aspherical harden stainless steel was tested. From the experimental results, it was clarified that cBN micro milling tool was useful for ultra precision cutting of aspherical harden stainless steel.
