Abstract
In general, the dearanoe of the die and punch has a profttund effect on the propeities of shearing work However, optimum dearanoe for metal thin sheets has not been made dear. The purpose of this study is to propose optimum dearanoe in micro punch press. The dearanoe between the die and pundi is precisely measured by image processing using a microscope. In this report a new measuring tedmique for the dearanoe between the die and pundi using image processing system is described in detail Then the validity of the measuring system is shown by results from experiments.
