D30 Development of Electric Rust Preventive Machining Method : Series of Mechanical Machining System that uses Water in place of Machining Fluid, and the Performance

Abstract

In machining, machining fluid such as cutting oil, grinding fluid has been used for smoothing machining. However, it contains oil, surface active agent and so on that cause huge disposal cost and workers health hazard problem. The electric rust preventive machining method system (water machining) that uses only water as machining fluid is proposed and developed for solving environmental problem. This water machining system consists of main two parts that are water proof machining machine which performs machining with preventing rust of iron material workpiece and machine body and water recycle system which purifies used machining water. This paper is mentioned about general remarks of water machining system.
