Abstract
For pathological diagnosis, it is necessary to slice tissues embedded in paraffin and prepare a slide glass of the section. Slicing is a fine cutting process with a depth of cut with a few micrometers, and there are many unclear points about the mechanism and the distortion inside the thin sections. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the thinning mechanism in detail using a paraffin block. In this report, we report the effect of cutting conditions on the cutting data and morphology of thin sections measured using the tissue slicer we have developed.
