Abstract
Kinesin, a kind of motor protein, is molecular machine that moves along microtubule using chemical energy. Recently we found that microtubules formed specific contractile networks by mixing genetic engineered kinesin and microtubule in a self-organizing manner. By using a micro-fabricated chamber having pillar-like structures, we are challenging to control the shape of the networks. Moreover, we have a plan to use its contractile network as a micro-actuator.
