Abstract
In order to measure the driver's behavior by using a driving simulator (DS), it is necessary to check the evaluation for the behavior of the DS. This paper deals with the improvement of driver's feeling for DS from the viewpoint of visual angle. Generally speaking, the information of peripheral view of driver's eye has strong connection to the feeling. Therefore, the experiment to check the effect to the driver's feeling is carried out. And, it is shown that the visual angle has strong connection to the driver's sense of distance and velocity of the vehicle. Furthermore, it is found that the driver's feeling has the strong connection to both the distance and the velocity.
