Abstract
This report introduce that outline for the present condition of explosion bonding Explosion bonding is a very peculiar production processes to make clad plate in comparison with other production processes. One of the major characterisics of its bonding process is that a heat influence toward the materials hardly occurs. Tehrefore, the various kinds of material can be explosively bonded strongly. The main usage of explosion bonded clad products can be classified roughly in the one for corrosiorresistance structural materials and the one for the dissimilar metal transition joints. Various kinds of clad materials would be necessary in the various industry fields in the future, too.
