Abstract
Porous aluminum is a multifunctional material with lightweight and high energy absorption properties In this study, porous aluminum bending test specimen was fabricated by friction stir processing route Pore structure of fabricated porous aluminum specimen was observed nondestructively by X-ray computed tomography The bending property and deformation behavior of porous aluminum was obtained by conducting bending test It was shown that the fabricated porous aluminum bending specimen deformed from the position subjected to maximum bending stress
