Abstract
The trowel forged by Japanese swordsmith process (old Mizunaze trowel) handed down to Kyo-wall craftsman has been verified that it has the effect of improving the fluidity of kneaded Kyo-wall compound and exhibiting a delicate aesthetic appearance. In previous reports we proposed the dispersed structure models of kyo-wall compounds kneaded by forged and non-forged trowels through simulations and various measuring methods of mechanical flow dynamics, splash behavior, microscope observation and free water distribution. In this report the trial of analyzing reaction feeling during kneading the compounds by differently forged trowels through the acoustic analysis is presented. This result will be utilized for elucidating the mechanism elucidation the compound reaction feelings of the craftsmen's hands transmitted through the forged trowels during kneading and coating Kyo-wall compounds.
